Research Statement

SoccerMental LLC

The training and measurement layer of SoccerMental is built on published, peer-reviewed sports science, including research on scanning and visual perception in elite football conducted across professional and elite youth populations. Citations for specific claims are attached where those claims are made.

What we claim

• Scanning and perception are measurable, and published research links them to performance at the highest level of the game.
• SoccerMental measures these behaviours consistently, under identical conditions, and tracks their development over time.
• SoccerMental certifies study and demonstrated understanding: what a player attended, practised, and demonstrated.

What we do not claim

• We do not grade talent and we do not predict ability or future performance.
• We do not promise sporting outcomes, selection, scholarships, or professional careers.
• SoccerMental is not a clinical, medical, or psychological assessment instrument, and its measurements must never be used to diagnose, screen, or treat any condition.

A family gets a baseline and a curve, honestly measured. What they mean for any individual player is for coaches, parents, and players to judge with their own eyes.
