SoccerMental is used by players of every age, and children share its community spaces. That is why safety here is architecture, not moderation after the fact.

Identity

• In every public space, a player is their club name. Real names never appear on the Wall, in leagues, or on anything shareable.
• Nothing a child says to the Mentor is stored as a transcript or shown to anyone.

Voice chat

• Voice works only between league mates: friends who invited each other, with parental consent.
• There is no open-world voice, no public rooms, and no way for a stranger to speak to your child.

The Calls · Microphone Notice

Football is not silent, so SoccerMental can listen for the volume of your child's voice while they play — never the words. If a parent switches The Calls on, the microphone works like a noise meter: it measures loudness on the device, in the moment, to count how often your child calls their play. Nothing is recorded. Nothing is stored. Nothing leaves the device. There is no voice recognition, no transcript, and no audio in any report — only a number: how many calls were made. A light shows whenever the microphone is live, one tap turns it off, and it is always off unless a parent turned it on.

The Wall

• Posts and comments carry club names only and pass a profanity floor and rate limits.
• No personal information: the community rules prohibit sharing real names, schools, addresses, or contact details, and posts containing them are removed.
• Anything broken or wrong can be reported in one tap from inside the app, and reports are read by people.

By design

• Sessions end themselves at twenty minutes, at every price, and cannot be extended.
• Advertising is sponsor boards around the pitch, like any real football ground: the same for every player, tracking nobody. There is no in-app purchasing and no mechanism designed to keep a child online longer.
• If the platform notices a sustained rough patch in a child's check-ins, it says one warm thing: talk to someone you trust. It does not probe, diagnose, or engage further.
